Greetings,
We have a stellar group of men that have been elected and appointed this year and I look forward to being the Worshipful Master of this Lodge as we celebrate the 171st year Anniversary here in Salem,Oregon. I plan on keeping true the many traditions of this Lodge. It's the first constituted Masonic Lodge in the State and I’m proud to be part of the history.
To align with The Grand Master of A.F. & A.M of Oregon, my theme for this year is “Make a Difference.”
As Masons I would say that it's our duty to create long lasting friendships in Freemasonry and to serve our community with passion and purpose.
My goal is to make this Lodge a place where we can share peace and harmony among all of us. I hope this year I can give the members this Lodge what they expect from Freemasonry, working together to serve our community and support our traditional programs. Freemasonry is a powerful fraternity, understanding that being a Mason is truly a way of life, giving a man the tools and the support he needs to better himself, his family and his community.
Freemasonry is above all else a spiritual society with unlimited opportunities for service, personal improvement and enjoyment. Our Craft is so broad in its work and the scope that there is some aspect that is bound to appeal to someone. I hope I can continue to provide the guidance in Masonry and be the Lodge beacon of light this year.
