Masons have a proud tradition of supporting our men and women in uniform, dating back to the Revolutionary War. In every conflict or war that involved our country, Freemasons never lost their focus on the individual serviceman or woman. You’ll find Masonic influence in the Civil War, World Wars I and II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Gulf War. Salem Lodge No. 4 A.F.&A.M. has partnered with state agencies and local non-profit organizations to provide venue funding to provide services to veterans that include employment, housing and medical, just to name a few.
Salem Lodge No. 4 A.F.& A.M. also provides gap funding when a veteran needs additional assistance for housing, employment, basic needs or transportation when other assistance falls short of a veterans needs.
